Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Business Development Specialist to identify and onboard new clients for our IT services, including software development, digital solutions, and staffing support.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in Upwork lead generation, cold calling, email outreach, and client relationship building, with a proven record of generating business from international markets. This is an office-based, night-shift role requiring a proactive approach to uncover and convert new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and convert potential clients seeking custom IT solutions.
- Upwork & Other Platforms: Manage bidding, craft proposals, and maintain strong communication with leads.
- Cold Calling & Email Campaigns: Generate interest and schedule meetings through structured outreach.
- Lead Nurturing: Build and maintain strong client relationships and a healthy sales pipeline.
- Market Research: Analyze global IT trends and target industries for growth opportunities.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to align proposals and ensure client satisfaction post-acquisition.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of experience in IT Sales / Business Development targeting US/International clients.
- Proven track record in lead generation and deal closure for IT services.
- Expertise in Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting tools.
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working night shift (US hours) in an office environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
